5 Reasons Why You Should NOT Be Doing Yoga!

Nowadays, pretty much everyone has either tried yoga or knows someone who does it.

Exercise? No-one wants that kind of negativity in their life – which is why I thought I would share my views with you….

5 Reasons Why You Should Not Be Doing Yoga

1. It might improve your posture and make you more flexible.

Who wants to stand up straight with no pain? That’s just ridiculous. Make the most of those niggling tight muscles because, if  you start doing yoga that will all disappear! You may even get rid of that back pain which you have learnt to love over the years.

 

2. You might live a happier, healthier life.

Is that what you really want? Think about it seriously for a second…you could be doing all kind of useless things like detoxing your organs or loosing weight – that would mean having to buy a new wardrobe or a smaller size in skinny jeans.

 

3. You will be more connected with your mind and body.

I don’t know about anyone else but, I quite enjoy running round at 100mph trying to get a huge list of tasks done and over-thinking every single one of them. Doing yoga could relax your nervous system which would mean sleeping better – that is a nightmare in itself.

 

4. You will get stronger.

Being strong is so last year. Who want’s to be able to do handstands or arm balances or even worse, control their body with their core muscles to be able to move fluidly from one asana to the next. If you don’t like the sound of your muscles becoming stronger and harder then I suggest you never try yoga.

 

5. It may reduce your stress levels.

It is said that yoga can reduce stress and help you to think more clearly. It also reduces muscle tension and can boost your immune system.

But, let me guess – you are quite happy with how things are at the moment? I thought so.

As you can see, I do not recommend anyone to ever do yoga 😉
